Synopsis:
Emmy-nominated competition reality series "Project Runway" features host supermodel Heidi Klum and a panel of judges frequently including top women's and men's wear designer Michael Kors and Marie Claire magazine fashion director (formerly of Elle magazine) Nina Garcia, as they decide who is “in” and who is "out."

The "Project Runway" contestants are whittled down to the finalists who show their own line in front of an audience of fashion industry movers and shakers at New York Fashion Week. In addition, the winning designer will receive an editorial feature on his or her work in Marie Claire, and the winner will walk away with a cash prize of $100,000 to start their own line, and an all-expensive paid trip for two to Paris.

Seasons 1 through 5 were shown on Bravo. Season 6 is currently airing on Lifetime Television.

Bryant Park
Bryant Park is the location of the majority of the fashion shows that take place during New York's Fashion Week, which happens twice a year, September and February, in New York.

Parsons and FIDM
Seasons 1 through 5 used the Parsons School of Design in New York City as a setting for challenge and as workspace for most of the challeges. Season 6, set in Los Angeles, used the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.rk City. Their resources are used for the challenges.

Heidi Klum
Heidi Klum is the producer and host of Project Runway, as well as a judge. She has been a famous model for years, known particularly for her Victoria's Secret campaigns. She is the wife of Seal, the pop singer who sang "Crazy" and "Kiss From A Rose." Heidi has four children and has appeared on Project Runway in the late stages of several of her pregnancies.
